HOW FREQUENT ARE POSSIBLE DAMAGES CAUSED BY NATURAL HAZARDS IN MY ENVIRONMENT?

The hazard map shows the possible impact areas and hazard levels of natural hazards as an overlay for the territory of the Canton of Berne. It provides a detailed overview of the scope, intensity and probability of occurrence of natural hazards that could endanger a specific area. They not only depict known but also potential events, whereby events with a return period of up to 300 years are taken into account.
